My name is Olga Correia, I'm 24 years old and I live in Feijó - Almada, Portugal.

I became a BON JOVI fan in September of 1993, when they came to Portugal for the second time. Unfortunelly, I only became fan after their concert here in Alvalade Stadium and I didn't go!

In June of 1995, my bedroom was already cover with posters all over it and it seems that a dreams was coming true when I knew that BON JOVI where coming to my town for the third time. I was nervous, anxious, happy ever after but, one week before the big concert I got chicken pox and all came down. I didn't make it (again!!!). Even know, I stay in my bedroom window all the concert, trying to imagine what Jon, Richie, David, Alec & Tico could be doing. I could only listen the songs... but it work just fine!

Along this time, I had the chance to meet wonderful people, also Bon Jovi fans, and together we lived a dream. Ana Paula from Santa Maria was one of the first! We still get in touch and she is a special friend! Mónica came right after and I still remember what she call me in her first letter! They are two friends that are still with me since the very beginning.

One of my favorite hobbies is traveling! Fortunelly, I had the lucky to visit England, Spain, Greece, Egypt, Italy and the most important of all: Portugal, where I live!

My first trip ever had as destination: Cairo - the Jewel of the Orient in August 2000. Cairo is the capital of Egypt, the cradle of civilization and the beacon of religion. In Egypt I visited: Cairo (of course), Abu Simbel, Luxor, Tebas, Karnak, Esna, Edfu & Kom Ombo.

My favorite city was, no thoughts, Abu Simbel. The landing was a little bit tricky and me and a friend began singing (loud and clear) in the plane (everyone get to know us).

For the first time, I did a trip with no mum or dad, only with a friend and my sister! Three girls lost it in Egypt... an adventure! So adventure that I arrived in Portugal, seven days after, sick. All that strange food cause me problems. Not only to me but to all of us. They said Egypt is the Jewel of the Orient, and not that Egypt is the Jewel of the Food. Nothing like the good old mothers food (with the portuguese spices)!

Me, next to an "alligator"

Even though, two months after all this, I win a contest where I had the chance to go to England - London! It was my first year in the university and I didn't think twice, I get on my bags and when I notice me, I was already in a plane, alone, with no one I knew with London as destination.

I really don't had the chance to see much, I went to a Mel C concert, went to parties, but what I see by the bus or when I had the chance to walk on the streets with another winner contest from Porto, I absolutely love the city. Love, love, love... I cannot say that it's my favorite european city because I don't know all, but certainly, one of the top!

June 2001, another country to explore. This time: Italy, my sister choice! I can not remember what I like most! I visited: Venetia, Florence, Rome, Assis, Siena, Pisa, Verona, Pádua & Milan. My favorite city? Rome... Ok, you can say: what are about Venetia? Yes, it's also spectacular. My sister took almost 120 photos of it but, for me, Rome was fantastic. For every place I look I see something complete different... in Venetia all we see is water, and the San Marcos Plaza. For me, nothing special! Oh! I didn't had the luck to see the Pope João Paulo II. Unfortunely (for me) he was on vacations!

With all this good times, a dream was coming true. I still remember like it was yesterday. The day I open my e-mail program and the portuguese list was trying to see Bon Jovi in Spain in the 2003 Bounce Tour. Almost 10 years after becoming a fan, my dream was finally coming true!

I only got a month or two to get it right this time... and I did it! My parents could not believe it that is daughter was finally get it signs of craziness but I really don't give a damned. I only want to see Bon Jovi live... I was tired to see it on television, I wanted the real stuff!

A dream come true...

I could not believe it that I finally was in front row in a Bon Jovi concert, so far away from home. After 10 years waiting, I finally did it! The first chords of Bounce began and my heart was given signs of pure craziness. I enjoy, live it every single second of the concert... my first and still only Bon Jovi concert. I can still remember Mara face's when Jon send a kiss to us, Bad Name trying to sing louder than Jon, me trying to get into reality because all of that seem like a dream but was not! I was there, me and almost 30 portuguese fans, that for the first time (ever) get out from their country, stay together for two days and had the opportunity to see THE BAND!

This was my first dream coming true!

In June 2004, I went to one of my european favorite countries: Greece with some of my "old" friends included: Lígia, Rui, his mum and my sister. It was the year of Olympic Games and Athens was getting prepared for all the situation. My favorite city is not the one you're thinking about it. No, it's not Athens, it was Kalambaka - Meteora. Kalambaka it's a small town in the plain of Thessaly, is an important stop on the way to Meteora. Kalambaka is built at the foot of majestic gray rocks and was magnificent.

In Greece I visited: Athens, Kalambaka, Meteora, Delphi, Epidauro, Mystras, Olympia, Egine, Hydra & Poros.

Also in 2004 but on October, I went to Spain - Mérida. Another beautiful town so close to Portugal and yet so far. What can I said... for me it was the continued of my trip to Greece. I had the feeling that if I look on the ground for something I could be famous for found something very rare... For moments I  forgot that I was in Spain... all thought, thank God Spain got something like this, so close to Portugal!

As you can see, this story is never finished...
